Record store Dr. Wax will close on February 15 after more than 20 years of business in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Dr. Wax, which has been on 52nd Street and Harper Avenue for 30 years, will close February 15, after decreased foot traffic in Harper Court caused sales to drop. The store is organizing a farewell concert featuring hip-hop and soul performers February 28 at McCormick Auditorium.
