After the first day of competition at nationals, all three qualifying Maroons have been eliminated from play. This wraps up a strong year for both men’s and women’s tennis.
This weekend, third-year Deepak Sabada, third-year Megan Tang, and first-year Tiffany Chen will all head to Claremont, CA to compete in the NCAA DIII Individual Championships.
At the 2013 USTA/ITA Central Region Championships, third-year Deepak Sabada advanced to the singles final, where he fell 7–5, 7–6 (4). Sabada, along with first-year Sven Kranz, also advanced to the doubles final before falling 5–7, 6–4, 1–0 (8).
