7–11 p.m. Watch the Logan Center’s screening of Under the Sun, directed by Vitaly Mansky, who turned a supposedly scripted film for the North Korean government into an incisive documentary that reveals the harsh reality of North Korea. Logan Center, screening room 201. Free.

7:30–9:30 p.m. Hear jazz percussionist Terri Lyne Carrington, the first female artist to ever win a Grammy for Best Instrumental Jazz Album, perform an homage to Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, and Max Roach’s 1963 Money Jungle. Performance Hall, Logan Center. $5 for students.
