Voting closed at 7:00 p.m. today in the special election for the Fourth Ward Alderman seat. Sophia King, who was appointed to fill Will Burns' seat by Mayor Rahm Emanual last year, has won.

Sophia King: 4,286 (63.77%)

Ebony D. Lucas: 1,179 (17.54%)
