Crime Report: April 28, 2006

April 22, 9 a.m.—A burglary occurred on the 4900 block of South Woodlawn Avenue. The offender entered an apartment through an unlocked rear door. A wallet containing money and identification cards was taken from a kitchen cabinet.

April 23, 2:30 p.m.—A burglary occurred on the 5500 block of South Hyde Park Boulevard after a male resident left his apartment unlocked for 30 minutes. The offenders stole a Gateway laptop computer, a duffle bag, a messenger bag, and a Sanyo cellular phone charger.
