He turned around and saw five teenagers, whom he thought were between 14 and 15 years old. One of them said, "Give me your money." This offender then punched the man. The victim ran to his house and called the police. The police arrived but did not apprehend anyone.
An attack occurred at 5400 Woodlawn Avenue on January 31, at 6:15 p.m. A man was walking when he felt a blow on his head. He turned around to see three individuals. One of them asked, "Do you want some more?" The other two held the attacker back and tried to restrain him, saying, "Leave him alone." The victim fled and called the police. The police were driving around with the victim when they got another call.
The call was about another robbery, which occurred at 1300 54th Street, in Nichols Park, at 6:30 p.m. A man was carrying a pizza near the tennis courts when he was struck in the back of the head. He turned around and saw three individuals; one was carrying a bright-colored stick. The victim asked, "What's going on?" The offenders ran off with the pizza. When the police arrived at the scene, they were able to arrest three juvenilesall 14 or 15. The offenders were recognized from the previous attack at 6:15 p.m. The police are looking at previous cases to find similarities.
