Crime Report: 11.07.06

November 5—A robbery occurred on the 1100 block of East 63rd Street at 5:57 a.m. A 37-year-old woman was walking across a vacant lot when a man struck her in the face and took her cell phone and $30 from her coat pocket, according to police reports. The victim refused medical treatment. The offender fled westbound on foot and was described as a black man between 25 and 30 years of age, 6’ tall, weighing 170 lbs, with black hair, of medium complexion, wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, and a black jacket. Police were unable to locate him.
