1. Not only did Democrats do well last night, but Democratic issues did well. South Dakota rejected their abortion ban, Arizona rejected banning gay marriage, and Missouri approved financial backing for stem cell research. 2. Not much has happened since last night in regards to the Senate. Tester’s lead in Montana has become a razor thin 3,000 votes and Webb is leading by 8,000 votes in Virginia. Recounts appear imminent in Virginia, although the process is likely to be slow (a recount for the state’s attorney general last year didn’t get underway until December 20th).3. Go visit The Plank. They are going nuts over there, posting something new every 10 minutes.
