This article from CNN cites a study dispelling the notion that breast implants are linked to cancer and instead posits a link to suicide. This new link doesn’t sound to surprising to me; individuals who seek out elective cosmetic surgery probably as a whole have greater issues with self esteem and confidence. This sounds like a good Freakonomics question…UPDATE: Please see my clarification here.
