January 8, 7:45 p.m. — A U of C student walking down Woodlawn Avenue just south of 57th Street felt someone pull on her purse. When she turned to face the offender, he pushed her down, took her purse and ran into the passenger seat of an older model, four-door red car which sped west on 57 street. The suspect was described as black, in his twenties, around 5’6’’, 210 pounds and wearing all black clothing.
