On January 19, an incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. on the 5800-block of South Kimbark Avenue. The victim was able to obtain the license plate number of the vehicle the offender got into. The number matched that of another incident reported on January 11. University police officers observed the vehicle bearing that plate number on the 1400 block of East 57th Street. The two men in the vehicle closely matched the descriptions given from both the January 11 and January 19 incidents. Both offenders were taken into custody and an investigation was conducted. One of the male offenders was wanted on a narcotics warrant. The offender with a warrant was charged with two accounts of robbery as well as a misdemeanor for possession of canibus. Marvin Cabell, 18, of the 6700-block of Southeast End Avenue is currently awaiting a hearing. The second male was released without charge. The vehicle involved was a green, four-door 1993 Infinity.
