Who We Are

Founded in 1892, The Chicago Maroon is the independent student newspaper of the University of Chicago. The organization’s flagship publication is the broadsheet distributed every two weeks during autumn, winter, and spring quarters of the academic year. Additionally, The Chicago Maroon maintains chicagomaroon.com throughout the year.

Hustling

“Hustling,” our term for recruitment, happens every quarter. For fall quarter 2023, info session dates, times, and locations are:
