Today is now Tuesday, which means it’s election day, which means it’s the biggest thing to happen to Hyde Park, ever. It should be a blast, and we’ll have all/much/lots of the action for you. No word on when the Obamas will be heading to the polls, unfortunately–not that we have anything that could be confused with “sources.” Your best bet is to take advantage of the unseasonable 71-degree temperature and stake out the Shoesmith Belauh Elementary School in Kenwood and watch for the motorcade. In terms of what’s in store for us, we’ll be posting a few times here during the day, before heading down to Grant Park later this evening for the main event. No wireless access, unfortunately, but we’ll be blogging furiously when we return, assuming we’re able to make it back to Hyde Park before sun-up.
