On February 22 at 9:24 p.m., University police noticed a group of three male teenagers walking back and forth with no apparent destination on the 1300 block of 56th Street. As the police approached the group, the teenagers broke into a run, prompting the police to chase after them. Christopher Grier, an 18-year-old, discarded a handgun as he was running.
