A man was shot twice at 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, on Drexel Avenue between 54th and 55th streets. The victim died later at a hospital. After shooting the victim, the suspect fled the scene in a late-model, black, four-door Chrysler vehicle. Though police have not finished an investigation, initial evidence suggested that the victim might have been shot because of a disagreement over property belonging to the assailant.
