The council heard appeals from two RSOs that were denied funding by SGFC and the Community Service Fund, voted to introduce ranked choice voting for spring cabinet elections, and placed a referendum to add a Judicial Council on the spring ballot.
CC members clashed over proposals by Class of 2029 Representative Gavin Wynn that would reinterpret the guidelines that inform how much funding RSOs receive from USG and make it easier for CC to change them in the future.
College Council representatives expressed concern about USG running out of funds to distribute to RSOs for the remainder of the year but did not decide how to address the issue during its February 9 meeting.
