Clara Tripp is a first-year in the College from the Hudson Valley in New York. She landed her first reporting gig at age six, when she interviewed Michelle Obama about her Let’s Move! campaign. Clara has since written for her middle and high school newspapers, served as a student correspondent at the Highlands Current, and spent five years as a digital fact-checker with the MediaWise Teen Fact Checking Network. Outside of journalism, she chases “Type 2” fun, including trail running, skiing, and ice climbing.
