Ishaan Verma is a third-year in the College from Ashburn, Virginia, studying economics. He joined the Maroon as a writer for the Sports section in autumn 2025 and is passionate about all forms of competition, from March Madness to beach Spikeball tournaments. When he’s not hopelessly checking the Wizards’s record, he enjoys watching Carlos Alcaraz, playing poker, and listening to Mac Miller.
