Sofia Cavallone, Viewpoints co-Head Editor
Raised in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Sofia Cavallone is a second-year student in the College studying English language and literature and astrophysics. In high school, she was editor-in-chief of her student newspaper, a position that reinforced her passion for editorial production and creative storytelling. She has served as Viewpoints co-Head Editor since her first year. Outside of the Maroon, she is an outreach coordinator and systems integration engineer for PULSE-A, UChicago’s first-ever satellite and is committed to rendering complex scientific topics into fun, accessible media for the public. In her free time, you can find her eating Korean food, oil painting, or listening to Kendrick Lamar.
