Via the Chronic-what-cle of Higher Education comes the news that the U of C has been ranked the seventh-best University in the world by the Times Higher Education Supplement.We are tied with Cal Tech, which is fine. I was getting sick of sharing the US News spot with Columbia anyways. Obviously any system of ranking colleges is controversial (including this one), but it’s still nice to be held in such high esteem.
