Members of the CIA Directorate of Intelligence write analyses of world events read by the president. Twenty-five lucky students who signed up for the program will have the opportunity to simulate just this process Friday, October 7, at the Harris School of Public Policy.
They will participate in an adaptation of a simulation used to train CIA analysts sponsored by the CIA’s Office of Near Eastern and South Asian Analysis.
Students will play the roles of U.S. intelligence analysts and answer questions about how to gather and judge intelligence under extreme conditions. They will also consider the optimal way to share intelligence information with others.
“This is a great opportunity for all those interested in foreign policy” said Edonna Brazzle who is coordinating this program.
