UAA honors Eichhorn
Fourth-year field athlete Brian Eichhorn (pictured) was named UAA Athlete of the Week for men’s track and field Tuesday.
Eichhorn scored two wins for the Maroons at the St. Joseph’s Invite, taking the pole vault with a 4.27-meter mark and throwing for 49.82 meters in the javelin. His 18 points helped push the squad (168) to a second place finish at the meet.
The honor was the first career Athlete of the Week award for Eichhorn.
