A man was the victim of aggravated robbery at 850 E. 54th Street on February 17 at 11:10 a.m. An offender approached the victim from behind, placing something hard in the middle of his back and said, “Give me everything you got.” The victim told the offender that he didn’t have anything, and the offender demanded he give up his necklace and earring. He then demanded the victim’s coat then fled east on 54th Street. The offender is described as a black man in his 20s, 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, medium build, and with a dark complexion. He was wearing a black, knit Yankees hat; black, puffy coat; white gym shoes; and he had a goatee.
A woman was robbed on the 1300 block of Madison Park at 7:45 p.m. on February 18. Walking alone, she was approached by a lone, male offender who grabbed her from behind and demanded all she had. She screamed and he struck her in her face and on her head. The offender then took her purse and fled east on Madison Park. A male friend of the victim, observing the robbery from a nearby apartment, came out and chased the offender. He was unable to catch the offender, who stole her purse, containing $40, credit cards, and personal papers. The offender is described as a black man 20 to 22 years old, 5-foot-11,140 to 160 pounds. He wore a quilted navy jacket, and a navy blue possible a UNC hooded sweatshirt underneath.
A man was the victim of armed robbery while walking along the 1400 block of 55th Street at 2:15 a.m. on February 19. A vehicle pulled up to the victim, and an offender got out of the car while the driver remained inside. Displaying a gun, he demanded the victim’s money. After receiving $25 and a cell phone, the offender got back in the car and fled west on 55th Street. The offender was described as a black man 5-foot-6. The driver was described as male, and with a black four-door car.
