Undergrads aspiring to don white coats schmoozed with medical school admissions officers and current students at the first annual University of Chicago Medical School Conference. The Pre-Medical Students Association hosted representatives from 13 medical schools to talk to students on Monday afternoon in the BSLC lobby.
Cassandra S. Flambouras, a health professions adviser, said the conference was “a terrific opportunity to find out about general medical school admissions as well as to possibly discover a medical school not on your radar.”
Participating schools were as close to home as the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and hailed as far away as Grenada and St. Vincent.
