Wrestlers win opener on major decision
The 26th-ranked wrestling team began its season Sunday with a 16-15 win at Olivet College. Winners included fourth-year Ai Nguyen (4-2 OT, 125 pounds), third-year Anthony Bribiesco (7-5, 157), third-year Phil Kruzel (8-4, 174), and fourth-year Sean Barnes (6-4, 285). Second-year Andrew Bribiesco’s 13-5 major decision at 141 pounds earned Chicago the winning point.
Chicago faces 22nd-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in their home opener Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Ratner.
