An armed robbery occurred at 5101 South Lake Park Avenue on January 10th at 2 p.m. Two offenders, both of whom displayed handguns, demanded money from a man walking down the street. The victim gave them $30, and they then fled the area.
Another armed robbery occurred at 5400 South Woodlawn Avenue on January 11th. A man pushed a woman walking down the street, grabbed her coat and emptied her pockets of its contents. He then fled the area on foot.
The Ingleside Food Grocery, located at 5117 South Ingleside Avenue, was robbed at 11:59 p.m. on January 12. Two armed individuals entered the store with guns and demanded money from the register. After taking the money, they fled the store.
