Stem Cell Advance?

The

The latest advance in stem cell technology doesn’t seem to be much of an advance at all. Sure it is an effective way of bypassing the political issues preventing federal government funding until Democrats get into office, but is it a good thing when researchers are spending their time trying to find ways of bypassing stupid policy? Wouldn’t their time be better spent actually looking at ways to use stem cell technology to cure things like cancer?Doesn’t seem like much of a victory to me, more like the culmination of research that was a miserable waste of time, prompted by bad White House policy.
