October 17, 5:54 p.m.—A 57-year-old man and 51-year-old woman were robbed at gunpoint on the 5300 block of South Greenwood Avenue. A man yielding a handgun approached the victims, who were parking their car, and ordered them to turn over their wallet, purse, and a key to their car.
The offender, who was last seen fleeing southbound down an alley, is described as a 6-foot, 180-pound black man in his 30s wearing a black skullcap, dark shirt, red jacket, and jeans.
October 18, 1:49 a.m.—A 26-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint as he was walking west on the 1100 block of East 55th Street. Two men, the first of whom displayed a handgun, approached the victim and demanded money, reaching into the victim’s pocket to take his wallet, which contained credit cards and $40 in cash.
The offenders fled on foot and were not located. The first offender is described as a black man in his 20s, 5-foot-11, and 180 pounds. The second offender was a black man, 5-foot-8, and 170 pounds. Both offenders were described as wearing dark baggy clothing.
