Alright, so this obviously seems like it might be turning into an obsession, but I swear that I found this article on Goolsbee purely by coincidence. The Yale Daily News has a very interesting article on Goolsbee’s college years in their latest issue.Apparently Goolsbee has long had an interest in combining economics and politics (something I’ve said doesn’t mix so well). The one interesting tid-bit, though, was that Goolsbee was in Skull and Bones while at Yale and that his class was the first to tap (select) women to enter. The article claims that Goolsbee was militantly in favor of adding women.Cool stuff.
