Mansueto set for Monday debut

The high-tech study space, known for a glassy exterior and futuristic book retrieval system, will open its doors to students and faculties on May 16.

The Grand Reading Room of the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library, which seats 180, will finally open on Monday. Heralded for its state-of-the-art design and automatic book retireval system, students of the Class of 2011 filled all spots for a tour of the building within an hour.
