Crime Report: May 19, 2006

May 14, 2:55 p.m.—A 38-year-old man was robbed at the gas station at 6001 South Cottage Grove Avenue. The victim drove into the station and, upon walking up to the trunk of his car, was approached from behind by two people. One of the offenders placed an unknown object to the victim’s back and demanded his valuables. The offender then reached into the victim’s front pocket and removed $400 while the second offender stood by. The two fled eastbound from the gas station.

The offenders could not be identified.
