Who We Are

Founded in 1892, the Chicago Maroon is the independent student newspaper of the University of Chicago. The organization’s flagship publication is the broadsheet distributed every two weeks during autumn, winter, and spring quarters of the academic year. Additionally, the Chicago Maroon maintains chicagomaroon.com throughout the year.

Hustling

“Hustling,” our term for recruitment, happens every quarter. Spring 2025 Hustling dates will be announced at the start of the quarter.
