International Scurvy Awareness Day is still five weeks away, but there’s still reason to celebrate this morning: Baseball is back. As the favored sport among the blogging editors, and since I’m up at 5:00 in the morning to watch it, I’d be remiss if I didn’t post some sort of celebratory video to commemorate one of the best days of the year. So here’s the beginning of Ken Burns’s “Baseball”:If that doesn’t make you want to run out and play catch at the sandlot, you probably hate America, and also Japan.
