Crime Report – 10-15-04

On Saturday, October 9, at 10:05 p.m., a strong-arm robbery occurred at 5100 South Woodlawn Avenue. Two individuals approached a man walking alone, and struck him on the head, knocking him to the ground. A third individual came and took the man’s wallet. The three offenders then fled the scene.

Another robbery occurred on October 13, at 3:30 p.m. at 1600 East 53rd Street. A 15-year-old victim reported he was followed by a group of men. One of the men grabbed the victim, pulled his jacket off, and stole his book bag. The offenders ran off, and are still at large.
