Lots of people have been telling me about this, but the rumor seems to be just that, a rumor. All the stories are based on a quote by Will Arnett, the jist of it is that the idea of a movie has been discussed, but it is dependent on the creator, writer, director, and mastermind of Arrested Development–Mitchell Hurwitz–getting behind it.Of course, it was Hurwitz’s who passed up on taking the show to Showtime (he apparently wanted a break), so I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for this movie to come out. (Although, according to the actress of Maeby, Hurwitz is talking with Ron Howard about it.)But do I have hope? Of course I do, and in the mean time I’ll nervously await the release of the season three DVD.
