Who We Are

Founded in 1892, the Chicago Maroon is the independent student newspaper of the University of Chicago. The organization’s flagship broadsheet is distributed every two weeks during autumn, winter, and spring quarters of the academic year. Additionally, the Maroon maintains chicagomaroon.com throughout the year.

Hustling

“Hustling,” our term for recruitment, takes place every quarter. Spring 2025 Hustling dates are March 27 and April 1.
