That was a very Drudge Report-esque headline, but justified I think. According to a number of news sources, the U.S. population will reach 300,000,000 by the end of the year. The child will be born in the fall and will most likely be Hispanic. I’m not so much worried as taken aback. At least I know one Nobel laureate who isn’t too worried.Also: The flag burning amendment was shelved again. Have no fear–it will be back. And this time it may be with a vengeance: it only failed by one vote (holy crap!).
