I’ve talked before about choosing the gender of your child, but it now seems my home state of New York is considering letting people choose their own sex. This is of course intended to benefit those with sexual identity issues, which I am all for. Conservatives are already barking about slippery liberal slopes with only a few legitimate concerns (does this by extension allow people to designate themselves as ethnic/racial minorities to take advantage of affirmative action?).
