Thomas is pwned

In his dissent in the Hamdan case, Justice Clarence Thomas had this to say about the majority opinion writer, Justice John Paul Stevens:

But this suggestion betrays the plurality’s unfamiliarity with the realities of warfare...
The only problem with this, as Brad DeLong points out, is that Stevens has every reason to be familiar with the realities of war—he has fought in one! Stevens served in the Navy from for three years during World War II, infinitely more service than Thomas has ever had.
