Ava Iwasko, News Reporter
Ava Iwasko is a second-year in the College pursuing a double major in public policy studies and statistics. On campus, Ava is an intern for the Institute of Politics’s Career Development team, a member of two of the IOP’s identity-based cohorts, W+ and Spectrum, and a news reporter for the Maroon. She is passionate about civic engagement and community building, and she hopes to pursue a career in public service and journalism in the future. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Ava enjoys listening to music, trying new restaurants, and exploring Chicago with friends!
