Maya Ordoñez, Columnist
Maya is a fourth-year in the College studying neuroscience and English. She has been a columnist since her first year. She has covered a diverse array of things, including UChicago’s deceptive photography and the Reg’s extensive archive. She loves writing in all forms but is partial to science writing and reporting. This past summer, she worked at WebMD and Medscape covering quirky science stories and fell in love with asking scientists about their knowledge. She also works in the Environmental Neuroscience Laboratory, is a college counselor for high school students in underserved communities, and is a runner on the varsity track and field team.
