Feb. 26, 12:50 a.m.—A male victim reported that two offenders approached him on the 4700 block of South Lake Park. The first offender demanded money, and the victim refused to hand over his belongings. The second offender displayed a machete and the first offender threatened the victim with a baseball bat, at which point the victim gave up $80 in cash. The offenders fled westbound on foot. The victim incurred no physical harm and notified a passing patrol car. Police have not found the offenders. The first offender was described as a black male, 6 foot 1, 170 pounds, with a light complexion, wearing a black skull cap, black hoodie, and black jeans. The second offender was reportedly a black male, 5 foot 8, 150 pounds, of a medium complexion, wearing a white skull cap and a red sweater.
