Dining administrators are still chewing over the options for a fast food outlet coming to Maroon Market, commonly known as Bart Mart.

“We are still working on trying to identify the right food concepts to match with a convenience store,” Director of Campus Dining Richard Mason said.

The Campus Dining Advisory Board, made up of students from Student Government and Inter-House Council, has been working with Mason on the concept. They have identified the continued need for “the convenience store aspect—looking for hot food, later at night,” Mason said.

When a venue is selected, it will function much like the Subway at Midway Market. But so far, no particular food option has been chosen, Mason said, dispelling previous rumors that a Wendy’s had been selected.

Any renovation or installation will likely not take place until after this academic school year, possibly during the summer or early autumn of 2014.
