The Audacity of Blackness

After hearing Samantha Taylor’s poem “The Audacity of Blackness,” Arianna Lafontant wanted to permanently commemorate it in a short film. She recorded Sammie reciting her poem again at Rockefeller Center, recorded short clips of students on campus, and found clips on the internet to match Sammie’s works in the poem. Arianna asked Yannick Tanyi to edit all of the clips into one video, and together they made what you see here.
