Here’s the scoop (hat tip Drudge). He’ll petition into the general election as an independent, and things should be very interesting. A number of pundits opined that his reluctance to really take Bush to task on Iraq–as supposed to just Rumsfeld–was because he had already conceded the primary and was looking to avoid alienating Republican voters he wants on his side as an independent. We’ll see…
