I was not the least bit surprised to see that our very own Andrew Hammond snagged a Rhodes Scholarship this year.But, that isn’t the only good news. The U of C tied with Stanford to lead all schools with 3 winners. This is a big increase from last year when the U of C was shut out.For a school that doesn’t really have athletics (despite what Tim says) or any traditional outlets for our school pride (like “The Game”) this is about as good as it gets.That and winning Nobel prizes.
