Kira Davis, Illustrator
Kira has been making art her whole life, and began illustrating for her high school’s newspaper and magazine in her sophomore year. Now, she’s so grateful to be a part of The Maroon team in Chicago and to accompany fantastic pieces of writing with her visual work. Her work is mostly done with copic markers and watercolor paints which she scans and edits to make into digital projects. When she isn’t drawing, she’s working shifts at the Regenstein library, making lists in her journal, or writing arguments as an oral advocate for UChicago’s Moot Court team. She plans to go to law school after graduating and become an attorney.Â
