The College received a record 30,369 applications for the Class of 2017 this year. The total represents a 20 percent increase over last year’s 25,307 applications.
Of the over 30,000 applicants, a record-breaking 10,317 were Early Action, out of which 13.38 percent—the lowest in the University’s history—received acceptance letters last month.
All Class of 2017 applicants will be notified of their admissions decisions by mid-to-late March, according to a University press release.
