Crime report 11-16-04

A strong-arm robbery occurred at 5300 South Old Lake Park on Wednesday, November 10, at 12 p.m. After a woman finished using the ATM at the Hyde Park Bank, three men approached her. One grabbed her purse and the other two stood on the lookout. The offenders fled the scene and remain at large.

Another strong-arm robbery occurred at 5:30 p.m. on November 11 at 5300 South

Lake Park on the Metra station platform. A woman was sitting on the bench waiting for the train when a man grabbed her cell phone. She resisted, and managed to pull his sweatshirt off before he ran away. She turned the sweatshirt in to the police.
