On April 6 and 7, UC Dancers presented their annual showcase, this year titled Rise. Featuring student-choreographed pieces performed by new and experienced dancers alike, Rise aimed to express what empowerment—in particular, female empowerment—means through dance, music, and poetry. The longest-running dance troupe on campus was also joined by special guests Tap That! and Le Vorris and Vox Circus.
